Why the Honeybee?

Schone Aviation, LLC originally began when I was working as an independent flight instructor. I am also a beekeeper and chose the bee logo to brand my honey. The company has since evolved into my business as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

For my “day” job (which includes 50% night shifts), I serve as a MEDEVAC pilot and the Assistant Chief Pilot for fixed-wing operations.
